During an Internet search I found the Orion Roll-A-Stool Folding Observers Chair, and knew in an instant that it was the chair I had been looking for. I purchased 4 chairs, and I couldn't be happier with the quality. They are so sturdy, and the design is thoughtful. It is the perfect little seat to pull out for extra seating at an outdoor function, and the sturdy strap is exactly what we need since we travel with the compact seats, and we use them in many, many applications. Thank you Orion!

I really don't have any complaints about the product, but the chair doesn't fit my long term needs. I need a chair that will go up and down. I've got a goto dobsonian and like to spend time sky surfing with the hand controller. Unless the area I'm surfing is low in the sky, this chair won't work well. I have ordered the #5941 Weekend Observer???s Chair and expect that it will meet all of my needs.

I recently bought one of these neat little folding stools for my observing chair. It is very light weight and has a handy carrying strap. I can sling it over my shoulder and still have my hands free for my scope. I am 65, so every pound I can cut out ofhaving to carry and move is important to me. It's sturdy and comfortable to sit on as well - all in all, a nice little stool (I even use it for camping and the beach).
