A great accessory. Simple..effective and usable. It harkens to the day of ole, when canera men used a dark cloak to set up the perfect shot. It blocks out light and allows your eye to "get sensitive" to see what's out there...nothing wrong with that..put that eye to work ! ..and not just your scope .

I tried using a towel to block annoying light, but felt like the neighbors were laughing at me. This canopy looks professional and blocks all visible light. Feels durable too. I love the Orion logo on it. I wish I didn't need to use it, but it's easier than getting all the neighbors to turn off their yard lights.
