Orion Dovetail Mounting Bases are designed for custom installation of an Orion finderscope bracket, reflex sight bracket, or green laser pointer bracket to virtually any telescope, or for adding a second finder to your Orion telescope tube. Each model features a locking dovetail and an aluminum base that fits on any size optical tube.

Each Dovetail Mountign Base model is designed to accept any Orion finder scope bracket, EZ Finder II and EZ Finder Deluxe reflex sight brackets, and Orion's SkyLine Deluxe Green Laser Pointer bracket. These handy bases can be used to install additional aiming devices to your telescope - for example both a magnified finder scope and a reflex sight can be mounted to a single telescope for multiple aiming options.
