The Orion StarShoot Deep Space Video Camera II Computer Control kit includes a 50' serial cable, a USB-to-RS-232 adapter, and easy-to-use software. With the included software, PC and Mac users alike can adjust Deep Space Video Camera II setting remotely using convenient drop-down menus, sliders, and more. Rather than having to go through the time-consuming process of selecting individual characters for on-screen text displays, the Computer Control software allows you to use your computer keyboard to save valuable observing time.

Incredibly useful one-button shortcuts let you easily change settings on the versatile Deep Space Video Camera II to optimize the camera for celestial targets of all types. Presets include one-button shortcuts for Solar, Terrestrial, Lunar, Planetary, and Deep Space objects. You'll be able to capture video footage of multiple objects in less time thanks to the efficient computer controls.  

With a StarShoot Deep Space Video Camera II (sold separately) and this Computer Control software, you can even use your video camera as a high-tech video "finder" using four types of built-in cross hair patterns. The cross hairs are also a useful aid when centering objects for extended video astronomy sessions.

Included software compatible with Mac OS X; Windows XP, Vista (32 & 64 bit), 7 and 8 Operating Systems.
