Our Orion 20x70 Astro-Binoculars are ideal for extensive astronomical exploration of the many wonders of the night sky. Like its 15x counterpart, this 20x70 model features 70mm (2.75") aperture objective lenses which are capable of pulling a good amount of light from sparkling night-sky subjects, so views appear bright and exhibit excellent contrast. In fact, these big binoculars boast more than twice the light gathering power of typical 50mm binoculars! Even more amazing is the value of these super-affordable, big, powerful astronomy binoculars.

The 20-power magnification coaxes out fine details of observational targets in the night sky, and high-quality BAK 4 prisms and anti-reflection multi-coatings on every air-to-glass surface ensures as much light as possible reaches your eyes. The long 17mm eye relief lets eyeglass wearers enjoy the view in comfort without removing corrective lenses. A tripod L-adapter is included, and tripod use is highly recommended for extended viewing sessions due to the powerful 20x magnification. A soft case with a carrying strap and dust caps are included.

Find out how affordable great binocular astronomy performance can be with a pair of Orion 20x70 Astro-Binoculars!

I wanted a way to enjoy astronomy on the go, I found it.
The views of Pleiades was astounding! Orions nebula was sharp and well defined and clear. The day time revealed very little aberration, to me that said alot. Definitely a tripod thing for any long viewing. Along to seeing jupiters moons, I noticed a little bit of banding too. Not bad at all for a pair of binoculars!! More like a pair of scopes.
Money I think well spent. JW.
Favorite viewing location:??With these, just about any place
Favorite object to observe:??Pleides, jupiter, a birds eye at 3 blocks away.
Pros: price, clarity, construction
Cons: wish it came with a better case
Yes, I recommend this product!

I bought these for my father in law, but of course, had to try them out for myself first. I read a lot of binocular reviews on various forums that raised my expectations of what I would be able to see through them. So, here we go, this is what you can expect to see: The moon looks good and is interesting to observe, Jupiter is just a large dot and if you mount the binoculars on a tripod you may see two or three smaller dots which will be Jupiter's moons, the Orion nebula is just a tiny smudge, but star clusters are nice to look at. If you want to see planets, forget it, buy a telescope. But if you are looking for something for quick scanning of the heavens then I'd say these are great. My observations took place in rural France. Not much in the way of light pollution out here. You won't see Saturn's rings and you won't see deep space objects. Would I recommend these binoculars? Sure! They're great for what they are, just don't expect them to perform like an 8" reflector telescope will. 4 stars because tripod mount was missing, otherwise, happy with my purchase.
Favorite viewing location:??dark rural France
Favorite object to observe:??Orion Nebula, Jupiter
Pros: seem well built, not too heavy, clear views
Cons: didn't come with the tripod mount as advertised
Yes, I recommend this product!
