This affordable, compact and lightweight tripod is ideal for on-the-go use with a small point-and-shoot camera, small binocular, monocular, or small lightweight spotting scope. The Orion Compact Lightweight Tripod weighs a mere 1.7 lbs. and measures just 19" long when fully collapsed, so it’s easy to take virtually anywhere you go!

The Compact Lightweight Tripod is loaded with useful features including a pan-tilt-swivel head, removable mounting plate with captive 1/4"-20 threaded post, extendable 9.5" central column, and three-section extendable legs with quick-release cam locks.

With all three legs fully extended, the tripod will hold an instrument 38.5" above the ground. The tripod’s center column can be extended to achieve a maximum height of 48", if desired. For stable tabletop use, the Compact Lightweight Tripod can be set to a minimum height of approximately 18" with the tripod legs spread out, but not extended.
