Bright highland mountain ranges, dark lunar mare (or "seas"), meandering rilles, stunning impact craters, and other geographical features are impeccably illustrated on the 12" diameter globe. Take "one small step" into history by studying the designated landing location of the 1969 Apollo 11 manned mission landing, as well as the first unmanned American and Russian mission landing sites. The included Story of the Moon booklet provides informative facts on surface features, phases, tidal effects, lunar eclipses, and more. There's even a fun quiz section to test your Moon mindfulness!
