Telescope:
Orion 10" f/3.9 Newtonian Astrograph
Mount:
CGEM
Camera:
Canon 5D mkII No filter Processing: Gathered and processed in Images Plus 4.25 Exposure: 30 X 20 sec. @ iso 800 Notes: Very strong and easy to use imaging scope easily reaches out and obtains an 8.9 Magnitude comet in detail from downtown Austin, Texas with no auto-guiding. I believe this to be the first image by an armature of this comet this year.
A very affordable 10" telescope, capable of capturing incredibly deep images, the Orion 10" f/3.9 Newtonian reflector astrograph is an amazing performer. The coatings are 94% reflective, and the 2" dual speed crayford focuser is rock solid.
