M33 - Triangulum Galaxy
I got into amateur astronomy back in 1997 when I bought my first telescope, a 6" Orion Deep Space Explorer. 13 years later I sold the 6" and bought an Orion XT12G 12" dobsonian with goto/tracking. In addition to providing stunning visual views it is also great for planetary imaging with a Celestron Neximage. I got the bug for deep space astrophotography so I bought an Orion ED80T CF Triplet APO refractor, an Atlas EQ-G and the Orion Magnificent Autoguider package (starshoot camera and 50mm guide scope) and a Canon T2i DSLR. Astrophotography allows me to indulge my inner-geek and my artistic side. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed producing them.
