Meade ETX-80AT-TC #0805-04-21. This 80mm achromatic refractor is a super compact, ultra-portable telescope for both astronomy and terrestrial use, delivering more light-gathering than competitively priced 60mm models. Includes Meade 494 Autostar GOTO computer. The ETX-80 is a great first GOTO telescope with unique features.

This great on the go and campground observatory is terrific for camping, hiking, picnics, the beach, vacations, or any other time you want to connect with nature and the universe. Lunar craters by the hundreds, cloud belts on Jupiter, and Saturn?s rings as just the beginning of what can be seen.

This 80mm (3.1") refracting type telescope features a focal length of 400mm (f/5) with multi-coated optics for great image brightness. This model has several unique and useful standard features including an internal flip function Barlow lens to increase the magnification of the eyepiece in use and an internal flip mirror for camera mounting at the rear of the telescope.

Includes the Meade #494 AutoStar Handbox with GOTO and over 1400 object library, a built in time chip, adjustable height aluminum tripod, AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition Software and Instructional DVD, internal battery pack for six (user supplied) AA batteries, combination compass/bubble, and two Series 4000 1.25 Super Plössl Eyepieces (9.7mm and 26mm) for magnifications of 15X and 41X without use of the Barlow.
