With this handy mount, you can conveniently observe wildlife, birds, landscapes, and scenery from the comfort of your car, truck, or motor home using a spotting scope, camera, binocular or other small optical instrument. The Orion Spotting Scope Vehicle Window Mount is ideal for use on family road-trips and camping expeditions. You can even keep one in the car so you’re ready for impromptu observing opportunities that present themselves during daily routines.

Not limited to car windows, the Orion Spotting Scope Vehicle Window Mount attaches to flat, vertical surfaces with widths up to 25mm (approx. 1") wide, so it can also be used on decks, patios, or other areas with a flat, vertical surface available. 

The Orion Spotting Scope Vehicle Window Mount features all metal-construction and a captive 1/4"-20 threaded post for secure attachment of spotting scopes, small telescopes, cameras, video cameras, binoculars, or any instrument equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded acceptor hole or adapter. A navigation bar allows you to move any attached instrument with smooth precision. A locking nut on the window mount’s 1/4"-20 mounting screw provides secure attachment. For best performance, we recommend using balanced optical instruments weighing 10 lbs. or less with the Orion Spotting Scope Vehicle Window Mount.
