Our Dynamo Pro 17 Ah Rechargeable 12V DC Power Station is a conveniently portable power supply you can take with you into the field to power motorized GoTo telescopes, astrophotography cameras, powered astronomy accessories, and more. This 17 Ah (amp-hour) model works just like our popular Dynamo Pro 12 Ah field battery, but provides 40% more power storage!
The Dynamo Pro 17 is a portable DC power supply featuring two 12-volt "cigarette lighter" or auto-lighter style output ports (10 amps max.). The Orion Dynamo Pro 17 Ah enables you to power your astronomy gear during long observing and/or astrophotography sessions in the field. Additional 3V, 6V, and 9V male pin jack outputs are also built in to provide a variety of power voltages other than the two 12 volt output ports. The included wall-plug charging adapter features three interchangeable power plug tips for international use, so you can power your gear wherever dark starry skies take you.
The Orion Dynamo Pro 17 Ah Rechargeable Power Station has a host of other handy features built-in, such as a removable red flashlight with 11’ cable and magnetic mount, a very bright white LED spotlight (ideal for picking up astronomy gear after a long observing session), an AM/FM radio, booster cables to jump-start a weak car battery, and a circuit breaker fuse to ensure safe operation.
With so many useful astronomy and general features, you’ll find the Dynamo Pro 17 Ah indispensable not only for observing sessions, but also around the house, yard, and in vehicles for emergency situations.
