Every owner of a Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope knows what a pain dew can be. When it forms on the front corrector plate or lens, it's usually time to call it a night.

This 90mm (3.5") OTA FlexiShield dew cap is the answer. It reduces the formation of dew, prolonging your observing sessions.

It's made of durable, flexible ABS plastic that won't chip or break like hard dew caps. It wraps snugly around your telescope tube and fastens with Velcro. FlexiShield can be stored flat or rolled up for convenient storage and transport.

It also makes an excellent lens shade when using your telescope in daylight.

The product is a large plastic rectangle with Velcro on each side. The cylinder is created by bending the plastic and velcroing the sides together. There is about 2 inches of foam on one side for traction on the telescope. Overall the product works great. Looks much nicer than the cardboard one I was previously using. The unit I received is slightly different than the once pictured, however it is largely irrelevant.
