I just got a StarSeeker 130mm, but when using the 10mm lens I noticed that Saturn and some for the starts were bouncing around more than I would have liked. Come to find out it was when my friend and I were walking around the telescope it was making it vibrate. I got a set of the RockStable Anti-Vibration Pads and when I went back out to look at the stars and Saturn again, one nice perfect image. It didn't matter who was walking around the view did not shake.
Favorite object to observe:??Saturn So far

Brought these out onto my shaky apartment balcony and was shocked by how well they worked to inhibit vibrations, even when people were walking around on the balcony! Don't go anywhere without them, now.

Excellent vibration dampening. However, the visco-elastic inserts will extrude out of the containment housing if you have a heavy set of equipment. There is no weight rating listed for this item. I have used these with my LX 90 wedge mounted scope having a WO 66SD and counter weights. The whole scope assembly is riding on a scope buggy with two 17 amp/hr battery packs ( could be about 60 pounds + scope and balance weights) The total weight must be over 140 pounds. This is too much weight for these antivibe pads. The elastic will move and extrude out of the containment housing after about 2 hours. This causes gradual loss of polar alignment. Watch the weight of your system. If the elastomer extrudes out you have too much weight. You can get the elastomer back in the housing by letting it relax a few hours and reinstalling it. Good produce but only 4.5 stars because there is no recommended weight limit specified.
