Using this streak-free and blister-free film filter is an affordable and safe way to observe sunspots, solar eclipses and planetary transits of our Sun. When using the filter installed on a 4.5" aperture reflector telescope, you'll see the Sun in neutral white color, without any orange or blue tinting caused by the filter material.

This Orion Safety Film Solar Filter for 4.5" Reflector Telescopes has been designed to fit Orion StarBlast 4.5 Astro and Equatorial Reflector Telescopes, SkyQuest Classic XT4.5 Dobsonian Reflector Telescopes, and the StarBlast 4.5 Imaging Reflector Telescope Optical Tube (all telescopes sold separately).
