Orion SkyView Pro 8" Equatorial Reflector Telescope
Canon T3 Processing: Canon Digital Photo Professional Exposure: 1X10 sec Notes: First night out with new telescope and canmera. This is the first picture I have taken. Not super great, but for my first ever shoot I am very happy with it. There was a lot of fog rolling in to the area as I took this. Had to piggyback the camera to my telescope. Hope to get better weather soon so I can start getting some really amazing shots.
Astro-images taken through a telescope on a tracking mount provide breathtaking color and detail that you just can't see with your eyes alone. The astro-images on our web site demonstrate the imaging capabilities of the products used and are not intended to represent what you will see when you look through a telescope.
The Orion SkyView Pro 8 is great for the intermediate astronomer. Images are much brighter and sharper than with a 6" reflector. The large focal length allows you to resolve fine detail at high powers. It can be upgraded to GoTo at any time.
