Are these good for in the woods and looking across pastures, how far can you see?
Yes, the Bushnell 2.5x42 Binocular with built-in IR will work just fine in the woods and for viewing across pastures. Maximum range is 600 yards, and magnification is 2.5X, so objects 200 yards away will appear just 80 yards distant.

Can we use this binocular in the broad daylight without any trouble?
This binocular is a night vision binocular and can not be used in daylight hours. It is only designed for night use.

What is the FOV of these particular binoculars?

Would the Bushnell Night Vision binocular be of value on a boat at night, looking for other boats?
They would work quite well. They can magnify at 2.5x and have a viewing distance of about 600 yards using the night vision.
