Keep your astronomy binoculars stably attached to a tripod with the Orion Heavy-Duty Binocular Tripod Adapter. This rugged, stainless steel tripod adapter for high power binoculars will keep your big and heavy astronomy binoculars securely coupled to a field tripod during two-eyed stargazing adventures. A handy quick-release feature enables swift setup and takedown, and makes it easy to remove installed binoculars from the tripod for intermittent handheld use.

The top of the Orion Heavy-Duty Binocular Tripod Adapter features a rail mounting for attachment of an optional reflex sight to help aid in aiming attached binoculars. The Orion Heavy-Duty Binocular Tripod Adapter is compatible with any binocular featuring a ¼”-20 threaded acceptor in the center hinge, and any field or photo tripod equipped with a standard ¼”-20 threaded post. Not compatible with astronomy binoculars featuring an integrated, non-removable tripod adapter.
