Our highest-quality diagonals feature sophisticated, lab-tested dielectric coatings that boast an astounding 99% reflectivity. Dielectric coatings are more durable than enhanced aluminum coatings, so you'll enjoy years of exceptional performance. The machined aluminum housings of Orion Dielectric Diagonals feature machine-threaded baffles to prevent internal light scattering and provide high contrast. Each model features a non-marring compression ring collar to avoid scratches on inserted telescope eyepiece barrels. Nosepiece barrels are threaded to accept like-sized Orion filters. Available in 1.25" and 2" sizes.
