We love our TableTop telescopes, but if there isn’t a table nearby when you want to stargaze with one, we now provide our Orion GoScope 80mm TableTop Refractor Telescope bundled with a sturdy field tripod so you can gaze at stars anywhere!

The included field tripod is adjustable with a height range of 20” to 34.5” so you can position the Orion GoScope 80mm refractor telescope comfortably. The adjustable tripod also features an extendable elevator column for crowd-pleasing performance, providing viewers of different heights with comfortable views.

The Orion GoScope 80mm Refractor and Tripod Bundle also includes a high-power 6.3mm eyepiece, which provides a powerful, 55.5x view in the 350mm focal length GoScope refractor telescope for high-magnification views of bright planets, lunar craters and mountains and more.

This ultra-compact, entry-level refractor makes a great quality first telescope for beginning stargazers. But it’s not just for newbies — the GoScope 80 refractor’s convenient size makes it a true "grab-and-go" telescope, perfect for the mobile interests of more experienced amateurs. With an 80mm objective lens and 350mm focal length (f/4.3), the GoScope 80 refractor is best for wide angle, low power "sweeping" across the night sky. The GoScope 80 telescope performs rather impressively for its modest size, collecting over 30% more light than its 70mm counterpart, and over 70% more light than a 60mm refractor. The included 20mm (17.5x), 10mm (35x), and 6.3mm (55.5x) 1.25" telescope eyepieces will aid in your exploration of the solar system as you observe the Moon’s craters and seas, the rings of Saturn, and the moons of Jupiter. As you scan the Milky Way, you’ll also delight in open and globular star clusters, as well as a nebula or two. Taking the pleasantly portable Orion GoScope 80mm Refractor Telescope and Tripod Bundle to a dark-sky site with inky-black skies will allow you to discern more details on deep sky objects.

A red-dot view finder, internal focuser (which moves the primary lens back and forth) and included 90° star diagonal round out the features of this compact, yet surprisingly capable, refractor telescope and tripod bundle. Everything you need for night after night of astronomical enjoyment is included!

Weighs just 8.5 lbs. (with tripod, diagonal, finder and eyepiece installed)

This scope is so straight-forward to assemble. If you are good with this kind of thing you may not even need directions to assemble - it is that easy!
Beginners, take note, there is an EZ Finder II video on here that will help you line up your finder scope to your scope. That I have to do yet, but I found something and was able to view even without having it aligned. Also, beginners, if you are going to look at the moon get a filter (protect your eyes). There is only one knob for focus adjustment and this refractor-type scope lets you see everything right-side-up so you can use this for land viewing when you go on adventures. Great scope that provides almost instant gratification... Just the way we like it! LOL
Favorite viewing location:??Window without screen and back yard so far!
Favorite object to observe:??Star clusters and looking for Flying Objects! Haven't tried moon or vacation yet!
Pros: easy set up, wide view with 20 mm, software, full-size tripod, small tripod, table scope, versatile and light!
Cons: none
Yes, I recommend this product!

Got this scope for getting acquainted with the night sky, and motivated by the reviews of it. I??m so pleased with the views, they are vivid clear, and can reveal terrific detail for a small refractor like this. The first time i got semi-clear skies in my well polluted neighborhood, i was able to see the craters on the Moon, the trapezium in Orion??s nebula, and Jupiter with cloud bands and it??s moons; i can??t imagine what i could see in a dark sky with this Mighty little telescope.
It??s fun to use, the focuser is excellent, super portable, and comes with very nice eyepieces; the field tripod is another fine add to this scope as you can see comfortably stars at the zenith.
Highly recommended!!
Favorite viewing location:??Roof of my building
Favorite object to observe:??Orion constellation, pleiades, moon.
Pros: clear images, terrestrial viewing excellent, portable, bang for the buck

I got this telescope as a birthday present, and it was a great gift. This little telescope is easy to use and great for a beginner like me. The only thing I wish Orion had added was an eyepiece holder.
Favorite viewing location:??Backyard
Favorite object to observe:??Moon, Planets
Pros: lightweight, easy to use, well worth the money
Cons: no eyepiece holder
