  • Notes: Jupiter image captured Jan 10, 2013 during Ganymede shadow transit. Ganymede is the moon closest to Jupiter in this image with its shadow on Jupiter. To the right of Ganymede is Io, and far to the left of Jupiter is Europa. (Beneath Saturn) Saturn was captured June 9, 2013 and layered into this image to simulate a conjunction of the two gas giants. Both taken from my backyard with the same setup of hardware.
