Binocular Highlights Book: 99 Celestial Sights
Reviewer: Matt Wedel
I got this book to use with binoculars but I find that I use it even more often with my grab-and-go scope. The 99 best binocular sights are also the best targets for rich-field telescopes like the ShortTube 80 and StarBlast. The maps are clear and easy to read, with one object per page, and the pages lay flat for easy use in the field thanks to the spiral binding. Everyone knows that the best telescope is the one that shows you the most. The same goes for observing guides, and this one is a no-brainer. I grab my scope, grab this book, and in five minutes I am off to see the best and brightest deep sky objects in any season. Highly recommended!
