We specially designed this heavy-duty, oversized backpack-style case with the amateur astronomer in mind. We wanted something that could hold a wide variety of telescopes along with a small mount, tripod, and accessories, all in one convenient, go-anywhere case. And the Orion Observer's Backpack Case does it, with rugged elegance. It can accommodate up to an 8" Cassegrain, a 4" short-tube refractor, or a small rich-field reflector. It's the perfect all-in-one case for the stargazer on the go!

Made of durable, water-resistant nylon over a semi-rigid frame, this fully padded case features a main telescope compartment with customizable padded dividers and wide internal retaining straps. It also contains a large, padded pouch suitable for a laptop computer. A separate full-length compartment has variously sized mesh pockets for small accessories. On the exterior there's a large, expandable pocket in front, buckle straps for a tripod on the side, a mesh pouch for a water bottle, and a rigid rubber carrying handle on top. In back, thickly padded shoulder straps are complemented by an adjustable waist belt enhanced with foam padding for lower back support.
