I'm getting incredible views with this EP
and my Orion XT8 Dobsonian. I've never
seen the moon look so good. The Ring
Nebula made a find showing tonight as
well, a sharp little cheerio with deep
space as far as the eye can see, all
around it. Breathtaking.
Its like I'm standing on the bridge of the
Enterprise looking out over the galaxy.
Its my favorite EP by far, the best I've
ever used. Well worth the meager price.

This eyepiece has really helped me find
deep sky objects that I was missing with
my 26mm 1.25" eyepiece. It's heavy,
but it looks so professional when
mounted on my XT8. It's the first piece
I use at night to scan for my target
instead of using binoculars. It's a little
cumbersome to switch between 2" and
1.25, but maybe I'll switch to all 2" in the
future.

I wanted to try a 2" wide angle eye
Piece, and I've had good luck in the past
with Orion. So I bought the 38 mm in
this set. To make a long story stort it
was better than I expected.
since then I've bought the other two,
same results. Do your self a favor and
just get the set. Thank Orion!

I purchased the eyepiece last spring
near the end of our winter star season.
It's used on a Meade LX200R-8. The Q70
is used almost all of time. The wide
field view is excellent with stars in
focus to the very edge. This is one of
the best viewing bargains I've seen. I
wish it would fit some of my smaller
scopes but they're 1.25" only.
Great product Orion. Looking forward to
some of your new items, especially for Xmas.

I got this eye piece to see what a 2"
eyepiece would do for my viewing.
When I looked through it, a big smile came
to my face. I use it about 80 percent of
the time. Keep it up and I'll keep on

I have a set of Q70's for about 9
months. With my Celestron CPC-11,
these lenses really make viewing and
inspirational experience. Being that my
scope is an F10 and relatively slow,
there is not much gained with higher
priced 70 degree lenses. I also
reccomend a 2x Barlow. This is a great
set and a great price!

I have a Celestron CPC-11XLT sacope.
I had borrowed some 2" optics from a
friend and loved the way it opened up
my scope. I choose the Q 70 lens kit
and love it. I was told by a fellow
astronomer tha the slow f10 of my scope
would alllow these lens to work as well
as their much more expensive
counterparts. I get a beautiful view, flatr
field. I used the 26mm lens on Uranus
and was amazed at the beauty of that
planet. Value and function with my
scope, these lenses are great!
