Shipping Charges are based on consumer order quantities and not large volume orders. Large volume orders are subject to special order policies, contact our Customer Service Department for additional details.

When will my order ship?
Orders received by 1 p.m. Eastern Time for items that are in-stock ship out the next business day. Orders received after 1 p.m. Eastern Time will ship the following business day. When an item is not in stock we ship it as soon as it is available. Typically we do not ship Saturday and Sunday.

Billing Address and Delays in Shipping
We will verify that the name and billing address on your order matches the name and address on the credit card account you've provided for payment of your order. If they do not match, your order will be delayed so that we may contact you in an effort to receive the correct information. We may also contact you to verify your approval of a shipping address that is different than the billing address.

If I order two or more items and one is out of stock, will you wait and ship the entire order together when all items are available, or do you ship the in-stock items first and the back-ordered item later?
The ship completion option is preset on all orders. If your order is shipping within the 50 US states, you can uncheck the "Ship Complete" checkbox and receive partial shipments as items become available. Orders shipping to Canada must ship complete. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Can I track my order during shipment? If so, how?
Yes, we e-mail the carrier's tracking number when your order ships (if you provide your e-mail address). You can check delivery progress by clicking on the appropriate link: UPS or FedEx Tracking.

When will I receive my order?
Approximate transit times for standard delivery in the United States are 5-6 business days. Approximate transit times in Canada are 5-10 business days for standard delivery, 2-5 business days for Expedited delivery, and 1-4 business days for Saver delivery. Extended destinations in Canada may take longer and customs delays can occur. If you need a more precise delivery date, please contact our Customer Service department.

If an item is on backorder, the expected shipping date is indicated on the product page. This date relates to new orders.

I received the wrong item. What should I do?
In the unlikely event that this happens, please call us at 800-447-1001 (in the US and Canada) or email us at sales@telescope.com. Customers in the UK may reach us at 0-800-041-8146, from France our toll-free number is 0800-915443, from Germany we may be reached at 0800-183-0404. Other International customers may reach us at 1-831-763-7000. We'll arrange for the return of the incorrect item (at no charge to you) and see that you get the correct item promptly.

I only received part of my order today. Where's the rest of it?
Your order may have shipped in more than one box. Please allow several days for all the merchandise to arrive in case the boxes were separated along the way. If an item was out of stock and has been backordered, this will be indicated on the shipping invoice.

My address has, is or will be changed. Can I just give you my new address?
Call us or send e-mail to orders@telescope.com. Be sure to give us your name, old address, the new address, and the effective date for the change.

Can I use a PO Box address for shipping?
Many orders can be shipped through the US Postal Service to a US PO Box address. However, some of our larger and heavier items cannot be mailed to a PO Box. If you've provided a PO Box address and we are unable to accommodate your request, we will notify you by phone or e-mail. We cannot ship to a PO Box to Canada or other international destinations.

I am shipping my order to Canada. What should I know?
Please note that products ship from the United States. Your order will ship when all items ordered are in-stock. Import fees are calculated separately from shipping and handling charges.

We're sorry, we do not ship to Canadian post office boxes.

We pre-pay all duties, taxes and import fees on your order.

Orion Telescopes & Binoculars has chosen United Parcel Service Canada ltd. to clear merchandise and account for duties and taxes. Title transfers to the recipient upon delivery to the common carrier in the United States.

Optronic Technologies, Inc. doing business as Orion Telescopes & Binoculars is an approved CREDITS participant with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). By ordering goods from Orion Telescopes & Binoculars, I hereby authorize United Parcel Service Canada Ltd., an approved customs broker on CREDITS, to act as my agent, and to transact business with the CBSA, to obtain release of my merchandise, account for duties and taxes, to return merchandise to Orion Telescopes & Binoculars, and electronically submit refund claims on my behalf. Under the CREDITS program, I understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to United Parcel Service Canada Ltd., and that I will obtain the refund directly from Orion Telescopes & Binoculars. Further, I also authorize United Parcel Service Canada Ltd. to forward any refund issued by the CBSA in my name to Orion Telescopes & Binoculars so that they can be reimbursed.

Please note that prices will always print on the packing slip for orders shipping from the US to Canada even if the order is flagged as a gift.

Please note that products which utilize a battery or plug-in source (including Orion's cameras and imaging devices) require formal clearance from additional Canadian agencies, which may delay the arrival of your order.
