This complete FunScope 76mm Reflector Telescope Kids Kit is packed with useful extra accessories at a great value. Beginning astronomers will enjoy hours of stellar exploration with this amazing little tabletop reflector telescope.

Designed specifically with first-time telescope buyers and their families in mind, the FunScope is a great way to "test the waters" of stargazing - affordably! The FunScope is a great first telescope for kids and young adults who show an interest in space and astronomy. FunScope is a real reflecting telescope with a 76mm (3") diameter polished spherical mirror which allows you to capture 60% more light than a typical 60mm beginner's telescope. More light gathered means the FunScope will provide views of the cosmos that are brighter and clearer than views in smaller diameter telescopes. Unlike many beginner-level telescopes you might find at department stores, the FunScope comes equipped with a host of useful accessories and features so you can start having stargazing fun right away.

You get two Kellner eyepieces with the FunScope: a 20mm eyepiece that provides a 15x view, and a 6mm eyepiece that gives a more powerful, 50x view.

Every night you use the FunScope, start with the 20mm eyepiece to see a wider, less powerful view, then you can boost the magnification by using the 6mm eyepiece to take a closer look. Using both the 20mm and 6mm included eyepieces gives you a variety of magnifications to stargaze with, and with the included power-boosting 2x Barlow lens (see below), you get even more magnification options! Both eyepieces fit in the FunScope's rack-and-pinion focuser, which has smooth focus control so you can get clear, sharp views of the Moon and other targets.

The included 2x Barlow lens doubles the power of any eyepiece it's used with.

Just insert this handy power-amplifying lens into the FunScope's focuser, then insert an eyepiece into the Barlow lens, and you've just doubled the magnifying power! That means if you're using the 20mm eyepiece, you'll get 30x power instead of 15x, and with the 6mm eyepiece you'll get 100x power instead of 50x. The 2x Barlow accessory is a great tool for studying smaller and finer details of your celestial target.

Included red dot finder scope makes it easy to aim the FunScope at things in the sky.

The FunScope also includes a very useful red-dot aiming tool. After you align it with the Funscope, just look through the red dot finder's small viewing window and place the LED-illuminated red-dot on the object or area of sky you want to see in the FunScope. Then look in the FunScope's eyepiece, focus, and you'll be looking at a magnified image of the object you aimed at!

Use the included MoonMap 260 to learn the names of craters and other Moon features you see with the FunScope.

With locations and names of over 260 features on the Moon such as craters, mountains, valleys, "seas" and more, the included Orion MoonMap 260 ($12.99 value) is a great tool for beginning astronomers. Try a fun family activity of sketching craters and other Moon features you see in the FunScope eyepiece, and then find them on the included MoonMap 260 to discover their official names. Or, you can keep the MoonMap 260 handy while you look through the FunScope to help identify lunar features as you observe them. "Wow, that bright crater is named Tycho!"

Use the Moon Filter that comes with the telescope kit for great lunar views.

Improve your telescopic explorations of the Moon by using the included Orion 13% Transmission Moon Filter. The threaded filter is easy to install on the included 20mm and 6mm eyepieces, and its neutral-density filtration will help enhance contrast of craters, mountains, and other interesting lunar features. The 13% transmission filter also helps reduce the bright glare of the Moon to make observations more comfortable.

Easily learn the location of constellations, bright stars, and many deep-sky objects such as nebulas, galaxies, and star clusters.

Simply dial in the date and time across the top, and the Orion Star Target shows you the sky overhead. A perfect accessory and great learning tool for use with your telescope, binocular, or even unaided eyes. Designed for use within 30-degree North and 50-degree North latitudes regardless of calendar year - shows locations of 100 star clusters, nebulas and galaxies for viewing with binoculars or telescope.

Inspire young stargazers with this beautifully illustrated children's astronomy book.

Join our astronaut guides on a tour through the Solar System and beyond with the Orion Exploring the Cosmos book. Learn about constellations and the mythology behind them. Amaze friends and family with fun astronomy facts. 48 pages packed with colorful illustrations, seasonal star charts, and interesting information all about space and the stars!

Weighing just 4 lbs., the ultra-portable FunScope TableTop Reflector Telescope can go with you just about anywhere! It makes a great gift for anytime of the year, and is sure to get "oohs" and "aahs" once unwrapped.
