Tele Vue designers have pushed the envelope yet again with the beautiful 4.7mm Ethos-SX eyepiece. This magnificent ocular boasts an astounding 110° apparent field of view. This is the same field size used in LEM Simulator optics that Tele Vue founder Al Nagler designed 45 years ago to train NASA astronauts so they’d be familiar with the expansive views that awaited them during lunar landings. Imagine enjoying this ultra-wide view through a telescope from the comfort of your own backyard. With the Ethos-SX 4.7mm telescope eyepiece, you can!

This gem of a telescope eyepiece has been crafted to combine its exceedingly wide field of view with all the contrast, color-rendition, distortion correction and center-to-edge sharpness needed to achieve the natural view Ethos eyepieces have become known for. Its 4.7mm focal length will provide a high-magnification, yet very wide view that will keep you entertained at the eyepiece hour after hour.

The Tele Vue 4.7mm Ethos-SX is equipped with a 1.25” barrel and is parfocal with the wide range of other 1.25” Tele Vue telescope eyepieces. A 2" adapter is included for use in larger 2” telescope focusers.

Your observations will never be the same once you’ve used a 4.7mm Ethos-SX telescope eyepiece!
