Making Time For Saturn

It all started with a pair of binoculars, I was camping in Camp Davis, Bullhead City, AZ. I was bored, it was night, and so so I turn my binoculars towards the heavens. And, behold I see thousands of stars, where I had seen only a few. After that nights on end I would turn my binoculars toward the sky. Eventually I bought star charts books, which grabbed my interest even more. So I bought my first telescope, ( a DEPARTMENT STORE model ). I set up in front of the motel room I was staying at. I check out some stars, not really knowing what I was looking for. So I'm scanning the skies, and I find an object, but having trouble focusing on it. When I do achieve focus, low and behold it's Saturn, rings and all. I?m transfixed,( started observing it around 9-10pm,next thing I know it's 5am. I have been Stargazing ever since.

I always share my hobby with others, my step sister?s son has an interest in astronomy and science because I shared this with him. I try my best to get others interested, seems some people think they are to busy. What a shame.
