  • More Info
    • Streamlined, fully waterproof 8x33 binoculars deliver up-close views in any weather conditions
    • Mid compact size pulls in more light than a 25mm, but not as heavy as larger 42mm binoculars.
    • BAK-4 prisms, and multi-coated lenses provide vivid daytime views of birds, wildlife, and scenery
    • Features twist-lock eyeguards, a smooth-adjusting center focus wheel, and captive lens caps that won't get lost
    • Nitrogen purged interior resists moisture and fungal growth in damp conditions.

Birding binoculars come in a wide range of sizes and features. Some are waterproof, some nitrogen purged. Some are compact but relatively dim, while others are larger to pull in more light. We wanted a binocular that can "do it all" for daytime birding, wildlife and scenic applications. The Orion 8x33 Waterproof Binocular may be just the ticket!

Featuring 33mm multi-coated objective lenses, which place it midway between a super compact 25mm, and a larger 42mm binocular. This provides a small form factor that weighs less than the larger birding binoculars (the 8x33 only weighs 16oz!), but still pulls in more light than your average 8x25mm compact binocular. In dimmer conditions or in the shadows, you'll appreciate the amount of light these binoculars can pull in, without the strain of a heavy binocular around your neck.

The 8x33 Waterproof Binoculars features a very wide 7.1 field of view, and ample 17mm eye relief for eyeglass wearers. The rubberized finish covers a shock resistant body, all of which protects the binocular from scuffs, scratches, and everyday use. The 8x33 is waterproof and nitrogen purged, so there is nothing to worry about if rain or high humidity is in the forecast. The included lens caps are captive, so you'll never lose them while out on your outdoor adventure. The twist-lock eyeguards rotate up and down, and stay in place when in use, making these ideal whether or not you wear eyeglasses when viewing. Includes a neck strap and soft carry case to protect your binoculars and keep them close.

Make sure to take your 8x33 Waterproof Binoculars along with you on your next outdoor adventure - you'll be glad you did!
