The bright orange arc to the left of the Milky Way is the launch of the Orbiting Carbon Observatory from Vandenberg AFB in California July 2, 2014, a $486 Million attempt to quantify how carbon dioxide is distributed and changes over time in the earth's atmosphere.
This was just the AIO on a tripod for a single unguided image; its fun what you can do with the AIO - a great introductory camera for imaging.
