I have been interested in things in the night sky since I was 12 years old when I saw my first comet. I have built several telescopes over my 67 years and used them in my teaching of Science at the High School level. I have done lots of 35 mm photography of meteor showers, eclipses and low power Astrophotography. Now that I am retired I would like to get a good quality telescope for Astrophotography to continue teaching Astronomy to young adults in a Junior College in my home town.
