Notes: I have always been interested in the night sky and the stars but never had a group of people to share my interest with. I have recently moved to the Florida panhandle and heard about the Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association astronomy club. I went to their monthly meeting for the first time and being that I did not have a scope, they gave me loaner for me to explore the night sky! I was hooked from then on and it was not long before I purchased my own 8" Orion Newtonian astrograph, Atlas mount, and auto-guider early January of this year. I love the astrophotography/visual duality of my scope. These days, I spend most of my time looking at the weather forecast and hoping for clear skies!
