The smooth slow-motion controls also let you precisely track celestial objects manually as they appear to move across the sky, even when viewing at high power magnification.

Using the SkyView Mini AltAz is a great way to increase observing efficiency by aiming two telescopes at the same area of sky. Attach a high-power compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope on one side and a wide-field, optically fast refractor telescope on the other to view the same area of sky in high magnification and at lower power!

The mount’s rugged, metal construction provides a stable foundation, and the stainless steel tripod adjusts from 25” to 44” in height for versatile use. The two dovetail saddles accept narrow, “Vixen-style” dovetail mounting plates, and the mount is capable of supporting equipment weighing up to 24 lbs total. Weighs 12 lbs. 5.6 oz.
