    Although the day of the Venus Transit started out brilliantly sunny, the only big cloud in the sky moved right over the face of the sun as the transit began! It came and went for the first hour or two and actually provided some terrific drama--making the transit look like a yin and yang symbol in the sky! Of the 60 or so shots I took that day, the few in which the sun and Venus are nearly swallowed by clouds are my favorites.
