Coma Corrector for f/4 Newtonian Reflector

The Orion Coma Corrector for f/4 Newtonian Reflectors helps improve star shapes across the field for a better visual or imaging experience. It provides a 1.1x magnification which keeps the field of view the same. The fully multi-coated optics corrects the 'comet' shape of stars while maintaining image sharpness and contrast. It can correct Newtonian telescopes with a focal ratio between f/3.5 and f/6. This is an ideal accessory for viewing or imaging deep sky objects like nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and stars.

It connects to telescopes that accept 2" accessories, with a 2" compression ring section for large eyepieces or 1.25" eyepieces using an adapter (not included). This can be removed for imaging, providing an M48 threaded connection. This can be adapted to the smaller T-Thread (M42) connection with the included adapter. Backspacing is around 75 mm, so most T-Ring or dedicated astronomy cameras will need an additional 20 mm spacer (not included). The end of the coma corrector accepts standard 2" filters.
