12 mm Sirius Plossl 1.25" Eyepiece

The Orion Sirius Plossl 12 mm is a compact higher-power 1.25" eyepiece for lunar, planetary, and closer deep-sky views when the telescope and sky conditions support the added magnification. It has a 52° apparent field, 8 mm eye relief, fully multi-coated 4-element optics, and standard 1.25" filter threading. This is a rewarding focal length when you want to spend more time on Moon detail, planet detail, or smaller bright targets. Like any higher-power eyepiece, it works best when the atmosphere is steady and the telescope is well aligned, so it rewards patience and careful focusing.

Its multi-coated optics enhance light transmission for brighter views, while blackened lens edges reduce stray light and improve contrast. The eyepiece features a durable black-anodized aluminum body with a metal barrel for a precise fit and long-lasting use. The built-in rubber eye guard provides added comfort and blocks unwanted ambient light during observation.
