Description

The Orion EF 27 mm 1.25" Eyepiece is a low-power telescope eyepiece designed to provide sharp, immersive views with reduced edge distortion and improved viewing comfort. Featuring Orion’s Extra-Flat (EF) optical design, it minimizes field curvature to produce a flatter image across the entire field of view, making it an excellent upgrade over standard Plossl or Kellner eyepieces. The generous 53° apparent field of view allows easier object tracking and more engaging observations of the Moon, planets, star clusters, and deep-sky objects. Fully multi-coated optics enhance brightness and contrast, while the 23 mm eye relief ensures comfortable viewing regardless of eyewear. A twist-up rubber eyecup helps position the eye correctly and blocks stray light. Built with a durable aluminum body and rubber grip ring, this eyepiece is a reliable addition to any telescope accessory setup.
