Scope Cloak for Large Dobsonian Telescopes

The Scope Cloak for Large Dobsonian Telescopes is a rugged protective cover tailored for large Dobsonian reflector telescopes. Designed to shield your telescope when it’s assembled, this cloak helps prevent dust, dirt, moisture, and dew buildup on the optical tube and base between observing sessions, whether in a garage, observatory, or temporarily outdoors. The cover’s tear-resistant fabric and reflective outer surface help block sunlight and reduce heat buildup inside the tube, which can otherwise lead to longer cool-down times before observing. Its water-resistant lining helps protect against damp conditions and sudden temperature drops that promote dew formation. While it’s not intended for permanent outdoor storage, the scope cloak is perfect for temporary weather protection and keeping your telescope ready for the next night under the stars. Easy to slip on and designed to fit large Dobsonians, it’s a practical accessory for hobby astronomers who want to preserve their equipment with minimal effort.
