This Micro-Focuser allows for extremely precise focus control. The high precision Crayford-style 2 inch focuser design uses radial ball bearings to support the focuser drawtube. An ultra smooth motor allows you to obtain extremely accurate and repeatable image focus during your imaging session, very useful for when the temperature is changing fairly rapidly. Perfect for both astrophotography or during high power planetary observation. This add-on motorized focuser securely mounts to a thread-on SC type adapter (included) to the rear of your telescope. The diagonal or camera (not included) then inserts into the Micro-Focuser's 2" opening for a secure fit. A 2" to 1.25" adapter is included. The Meade Zero Image-Shift Micro-Focuser allows for approximately 0.5" of focus travel and consumes 2.36" (60mm) of back focus space when the drawtube is fully retracted.

To operate, coarse focus is first achieved conventionally through the telescope's focus knob. The Micro-Focuser is then used electronically to achieve a more precisely focused image via the keypad or via ASCOM if your mount is connected to a computer, without image shift or shake.

Includes SC thread adapters for the rear of any Meade LX85-ACF, LX200-ACF, LX600-ACF, or LS model telescope as well as a cord to plug into the focuser port of the telescope. This focuser is also compatible with the older LX200GPS models. Not compatible with LX85 reflector models or Meade LX90 models.
