These big, but not too big Orion Mini Giant 8x56 E-Series Astronomy Binoculars are based on a classic high-resolution long-barrel optical design. They offer an image that is sharp with minimal distortion to give star fields a pleasing, natural appearance. The big, 56mm objective lenses and moderate 8-power magnification yield a huge 7mm exit pupil which is perfect for low light level observing and star field scanning. In fact, these 8x56 binoculars gather 25% more light than a standard 50mm binocular. Affordable Mini Giant E-Series Astronomy Binoculars are great for sweeping through the cloudy band of the Milky Way to tease out views of nebulas and star clusters, and they're perfect for comet watching too!

Thanks to their relatively low 8-power magnification, Mini Giant 8x56 E-Series binoculars do not require a tripod for stargazing use. What's more, the moderate magnification gives this Mini Giant a wide, 6.2 field-of-view and 17mm eye relief for comfortable viewing. The binocular optics are multi-coated for high contrast performance. A threaded tripod adapter socket is built-in in case you prefer to attach the 2.6 lb. binoculars to a tripod (adapter and tripod sold separately). A soft carry case and neck strap are included.

Orion Mini Giant 8x56 E-Series Astronomy Binoculars will give you a lifetime of observing fun, day or night!
