Setting up and packing up your gear in the dark is best done with a hands-free headlamp. This 160-lumen LED headlamp makes a great accessory for telescope user, and for general purpose outdoor use around the house, under the hood of your car, or at the campsite. Rugged and lightweight, the headlamp works in cold temperatures for year round usage and is IPX4 rated for water resistance. This rating offers protection against splashes of water, making it suitable for light rain. Tilt the hinged illumination head to direct the light right where you need it. Quick and easy control with the dedicated on and off buttons. Choose red light to preserve your night vision while at the telescope, or choose the bright white spotlight when packing up, or for other nighttime activities where you need maximum illumination. There is also a flash mode for signaling your presence when running or bicycling at night, for instance.

Adjustable and durable elastic headband fits all head sizes. The headlamp is powered by 3 x AAA batteries, which are included. With a battery life that lasts for days, you won't get left in the dark! Headlamp dimensions are 55mmW X 38mmH X 30mmL, and it weighs 2.5 oz (71g).
