With nearly twice the apparent field of our popular Sirius Plossl eyepiece line, our Orion 16mm GiantView 100° Ultra-Wide eyepiece offers a visual experience you’ll never forget with its amazingly wide 100° apparent field of view. Offered at a fraction of the price of similar ultra-wide eyepiece models, the Orion 16mm GiantView telescope eyepiece delivers huge, exceptional views of night sky delicacies.

With fully multi-coated optics and a 6-element design, the 16mm GiantView eyepiece displays a gorgeous view with very well corrected field edges so you can enjoy sharp observations all the way to the edge of the vast, 100° apparent field of view. With long 15mm eye relief, the 16mm GiantView eyepiece can be comfortable used with or without eyeglasses on!

Relatively lightweight at 15.2 oz., the 16mm Orion GiantView eyepiece each won’t require re-balancing of your telescope for every use, as with similar, very heavy wide-angle eyepieces which, in some cases weigh the same amount as a reflector telescope’s primary mirror!  Its 2” barrel is compatible with 2” telescope focusers and diagonals, and is threaded for use with 2” Orion eyepiece filters.

Get a 16mm Orion GiantView eyepiece to see an amazing amount of sky through a telescope with well corrected field edges, all for a refreshingly affordable price.
