Orion EQ-1M, EQ-2M & EQ-3M Electronic Telescope Mount Drives
$79.99 - $159.99
Accepted Payment
  • Installing a motor drive on your equatorial (EQ) mount makes tracking objects hands-free and easy
  • Motor(s) slowly rotate your EQ-mounted telescope so it follows celestial targets as they appear to migrate across the night sky
  • Each motor drive provides regulated sidereal-rate tracking in Right Ascension (R.A.) as well as alternative speeds
  • Makes observing objects in the night sky easier and more enjoyable
  • 4 models available - choose the drive that is compatible with your model of Orion EQ mount. EQ-3M Drives for AstroView mount available in either dual or single-axis models

Attach one of these precision mini-motor drives onto a compatible Orion equatorial mount and track celestial objects automatically after performing a polar-alignment. The motorized tracking will make observing easier as you will be able to continuously observe any centered object as the motor drive slowly rotates your mount and the attached telescope about the right ascension axis. EQ-1M and EQ-2M Single-Axis drives provide regulated sidereal-rate tracking in right ascension, while the EQ-3M Dual-Axis drive provides the ability to make motorized adjustments in the declination axis in addition.
