With its design consisting of 6 fully multi-coated lens-elements arranged in 4 groups, the Orion 9mm GiantView eyepiece will amaze you with exquisite views through a telescope. The GiantView design yields excellent correction, so you can observe objects in detail even if they are near the edge of the colossal 100° apparent field of view. Substantial 13mm eye relief makes the 9mm GiantView a comfortable experience to use.

Its relatively light weight of 15.2 oz. means you won’t have to re-balance your telescope every time you want to use the 9mm 100° eyepiece, as you would when using similar, extraordinarily heavy ultra-wide angle eyepieces. The 9mm GiantView features a removable 2” barrel, so it can be used in both 2” and 1.25” telescope focusers and diagonals.

You can easily enhance the ultra-wide views with either 2” or 1.25” Orion filters (sold separately) since the 9mm GiantView barrels are threaded for use with like-sized eyepiece filters.
