I got started into astronomy in early 2012. It all started simply with me noticing that big bright starry-looking point of light in the eastern sky. Obviously, it was Venus and I became rather fascinated with it. Then it lead to me buying my first telescope, the 100mm Skyscanner in June 2012. That in turn lead me to observe the evening and night skies, and giving me the opportunity to look at Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, and Saturn. I was totally amazing by getting my first glances at those planets that I started to look at deep sky objects. Seeing the Andromeda galaxy in my tabletop telescope was a sight to see and I'm very happy I got into this hobby.
My favorite objects to observe include Saturn (because of those breathtaking rings), the Orion Nebula (because of how stunningly bright it is), and the Andromeda Galaxy (because of it being my first galaxy to see).
