Canon T1i Processing: None Exposure: 1 x 1/100th sec Notes: I was into astronomy my whole life, but only in my senior year of high school did I buy a telescope. I maintained my hobby throughout college and recently graduated. After graduating, I bought myself a nice mount (Sirius) and a nice scope (80mm APO refractor). I played around with imaging for a little while, and purchased a solar filter about a week ago. This photo was from the maiden photoshoot, the first time I had ever taken a picture of the sun, so I was lucky to have captured the sun.
Astro-images taken through a telescope on a tracking mount provide breathtaking color and detail that you just can't see with your eyes alone. The astro-images on our web site demonstrate the imaging capabilities of the products used and are not intended to represent what you will see when you look through a telescope.
