I love looking at the night sky. The moon and Saturn are my favorite objects to view and image. I have been doing astrophotography for about 3 months and find that it is very challenging but worth it.

Canon T2i Rebel Processing: Images Plus 5.0 Exposure: 10,000 @ 5ms Notes: This was my first try at shooting a deep sky object. I chose M13, the Great Globular Cluster of Hercules because it is visible from my back yard. I look forward to imaging many more DSOs with help from my Auto Guider from Orion.
Astro-images taken through a telescope on a tracking mount provide breathtaking color and detail that you just can't see with your eyes alone. The astro-images on our web site demonstrate the imaging capabilities of the products used and are not intended to represent what you will see when you look through a telescope.
The Orion StarShoot is an easy-to-use, affordable autoguider for long-exposure astrophotography. Plug it into an autoguider port on your mount and let it do the work for you. It comes with the software and cables needed to work right out of the box!
The Orion SkyView Pro 8 GoTo allows you to view deep sky objects and planets in fine detail. 8" reflector optics gather more light than 6" reflector telescopes. The computerized GoTo will find over 42,000 celestial objects at the push of a button.
The Orion ShortTube 80 refractor is perfect being used as a guide scope with a CCD autoguider. It is a compact telescope with wide-field optics that deliver bright images. This OTA version does not include any accessories.
