I use the L Bracket on my Ioptron Cube. It is well made, looks good, and does the job like a champ.

I use this adapter to mount a Coronado solar telescope to a Vixen Porta 2 tripod. I worked well out of the box. When I tried to mount a pair of Zumdahl 20X80 binoculars the mounting screw was too short. But I found that a furniture glide or a knob from the hardware store could be used to moumnt the large binoculars. On the vixen mount the binoculars were too low, so I reversed the l bracket end of the mount by removing the mounting machine screws and remounting the bracket downward.

Got it for use on a Vixen Porta Mount and a Universal Astronomics Dwarfstar mount.
C90/ETX90/Spotting scope/dSLR Long telephoto on the Vixen Porta works great.
20x80 binocuars on UA Dwarfstar mount works equally well.
All this for a L-bracket that is priced less than 1/3rd of Vixen's. Only iffy part for long term use would be the plastic locking tab (just above the locking knob for the 1/4" mount).
Pros: good value, versatile
Cons: plastic locking tab
Yes, I recommend this product!

The coupling is inadequate for Orion's BT100 binocular telescope. The spring-loaded bolt that attaches the long side of the ell to the mounting bar between the two elements of the scope is a couple of millimeters too short, and can't be easily (non-destructively) removed. It's easy to improvise a kluge with a proper bolt and a couple of washers, but you lose the quick-release portability.
The catalog ad for the BT100 shows a greyed-out VersaGo mount. Maybe that's supposed to warn you that it's an imaginary configuration.
