Sometimes two eyes are better than one!
The versatile Orion BT100 allows you to use both eyes simultaneously when you're stargazing. Besides making your views more comfortable, using both eyes will give each observation more depth, enhanced contrast, and better resolution compared to using a similarly sized telescope equipped with a single eyepiece.
The BT100 Premium Binocular Telescope features very large 100mm aperture objective lenses that gobble up light from the night sky, so each and every view is pleasantly bright and vivid. The fully multi-coated optics of the BT100, including top-quality BAK-4 prisms, work together to maximize the amount of light that reaches your eyes for sharp, high-contrast stargazing performance.
We include a pair of 1.25" eyepieces with the BT100 that provide 22x magnification, but one of the many great features of this premium binocular telescope is its ability to accept other 1.25" telescope eyepiece pairs when you want to use it for higher or lower power observations. Two eyepieces of the same focal length are required, and most 1.25" telescope eyepieces are compatible. The included 22x eyepieces yield a nice, 2.2° field-of-view and 16.9mm of eye relief.
The BT100's 90° eyepiece holder orientation makes nighttime observing comfortable, as there is no need to contort yourself in order to enjoy the view while the binocular telescope is attached to a tripod and pointing at the sky. Speaking of tripods, we recommend using an Orion heavy-duty field tripod or Orion altazimuth mount to support the 14.7 lb. BT100 (tripods available separately).
The BT100 Premium Binocular Telescope features individual eyepiece focus for precise focus control that even the most discerning observer will appreciate. The eyepiece holders' interpupillary distance can be adjusted from 57mm to 74mm to match the distance between your eyes for optimal viewing comfort.
Each big, 100mm barrel of the BT100 features a retractable objective lens shade to help keep peripheral light from streetlights and other sources from entering the binocular telescope's light path, which helps optimize the quality of your views. Additionally, internal baffles and glare threads also help optimize contrast.
A removable carry handle, objective lens caps and a foam-lined hard carrying case is included.
Get the Orion BT100 Premium Binocular Telescope and discover how great it can be to get two eyes' worth of premium stargazing performance!

"A key feature of the BT100 binocular is that it has individual focus mounts, allowing the insertion of standard 1.25-inch eyepieces... you have the freedom to choose any magnification you want!"
"I have no doubt in my opinion that these binoculars would perform outstandingly in light pollution-free skies, producing bright stunning images of celestial objects."
