Buy all three of the big Orion Q-70 Eyepieces — 26mm, 32mm, and 38mm — and save compared to purchasing each one individually!

Peering into the vast depths of space with a substantial Q70 2" telescope eyepiece puts your favorite nebulas and galaxies in a wonderful new perspective compared to viewing with standard eyepieces with narrower fields of view. Each Orion Q70 telescope eyepiece boasts a very wide 70° apparent field of view for expansive observations. You'll be delighted with big, bright views of your favorite wide-field targets.

The optics of each telescope eyepiece in the Q-70 series consist of five lens elements of high-index glass in a design that delivers sharp, high-contrast images with excellent aberration correction. The eyepiece optics are fully multi-coated with high-quality anti-reflection coatings for uncompromising light transmission, resulting in big, bright views.

The eye relief for the 26mm, 32mm, and 38mm models is a luxurious 20mm, 24mm, and 28mm, respectively! Eyeglass wearers can comfortable keep their corrective lenses on while using any Q70 eyepiece, which can be a big time-saver while observing.

All Q-70 telescope eyepieces are parfocal, so you can swap between focal lengths without refocusing your telescope. The machined eyepiece housings sport comfortable fold-down rubber eyeguards and a rubber grip band. The rugged, chrome-plated eyepiece barrels are threaded to accept 2" Orion eyepiece filters. Two end caps are included with each eyepiece so you can keep the oculars free of dust while idle.

I bought a set of eye last March, for my Orion SVP 8 ". The images are clear and the field of vision is excellent. The 38mm eyepiece is used frequently to find the objects. The lunar vision with them is always very good. There is a bit of distortion atthe edges which I resolve with the Baader MPCC. It is a good set for a good price. Especially for beginners like me. The Orion service is spectacular. Mario always answered every question and solved what was needed for a Brazilian lover of astronomy. Thanks Orion Team.

I recently got a 100 mm f/9 apochromatic refractor with a 2-inch focuser, and I upgraded my 8-inch schmidt-cassegrain reflector with a 2-inch visual back and diagonal. So it was time to get some 2-inch eyepieces to take advantage of the wider field of view. In addition to an explore scientific 24-mm 82-degree eyepiece, I bought this set of orion 26, 32, and 38 mm 70-degree eyepieces. I chose the orions rather than longer focal length explore scientific eyepieces because the orions are significantly lighter -- the explore scientifics would have caused balance problems on both scopes.
I'm happy with these eyepieces, especially for the price. They're well-made and have a nice feel. Views are clear and colors seem accurate. Stars at the edge of the visual field are slightly distorted, but this isn't really noticeable unless you're looking at the edges of the field. The best thing about these eyepieces is the wide field of view! On my refractor, the 38-mm eyepiece gives a 3-degree true field of view, big enough to fit Orion's entire belt into one field.
These eyepieces are a good choice for cruising through wide-field views of the sky, seeing diffuse deep-sky objects, and low-power views of the whole moon. I haven't found other eyepieces that provide a better combination of affordable price, relatively low weight, and good optical quality.
Pros: relatively low weight, affordable price, good optical quality, well made, wide field of view
Cons: slight distortion at edge of visual field

With using these 3 eyepiece`s in my orion 110mm APO Refractor I had very nice round star`s to about 95% of the edge, the last 5% around the edge seemed to be getting just a little fuzzy, but that could just be my eye`s.to my eye`s there did not seem to be any problem`s with color or fuzzy edge`s around bright object`s i.e. Moon, Jupiter, etc. these eyepiece`s are very well made, solid, and easy to grip.
Favorite object to observe:??Eveything. there is so much to see & so little time to see them all.
Pros: solid construction.
Cons: a little pricey.
Yes, I recommend this product!

I am so glad I bought the full set of Q70 eyepieces. I like the confort and the FOV. The 38mm has a problem with the barrel thread so a filter won't screw completely. Keep in mind that you *will* have some coma around the edge of the image (at least with a XT10 newtonian scope like mine), even after proper collimation, but the HD-TV feeling compensate largely. Last point: on my scope at least, these eyepieces are not really parfocal as I have to adjust focus each time I change.
